Shelving and display systems contractors in Chester
Need shelving and display systems in Chester? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
Shop shelving and display systems are the modular fixtures that hold stock: slatwall, gondola units, wall bays, glass shelving and pegboard, supplied and installed to a layout.
What happens at the survey?
Before we price shelving and display systems in Chester, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Chester we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.
What is included?
- Layout planning around your stock
- Slatwall and panel systems
- Gondola and wall bay shelving
- Glass and lit shelving
- Pegboard, hooks and accessories
What should Chester owners check first?
- Tall units must be fixed to the wall or linked to stop them tipping.
- Leave aisles wide enough for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
- Check shelf load ratings against your heaviest products.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
