Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Worcester use our shop refurbishment and refit service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How is the work priced?
Before we price shop refurbishment and refit in Worcester, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Worcester we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Lighting upgrade to LED

What should Worcester owners check first?
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
