Shop refurbishment and refit contractors in Coventry
We carry out shop refurbishment and refit in Coventry and the surrounding parts of the West Midlands, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
What happens at the survey?
Every shop refurbishment and refit quote for Coventry lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Coventry we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
What should Coventry owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
