Shop refurbishment and refit in Epsom
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our shop refurbishment and refit work in Epsom is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How is the work priced?
For Epsom jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Epsom we are usually asked to work on pharmacies and healthcare premises and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Strip-out and waste removal
- Redecoration and new finishes
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
What should Epsom owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
