Shop refurbishment and refit for Burnley businesses
We carry out shop refurbishment and refit in Burnley and the surrounding parts of Lancashire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
What happens at the survey?
For Burnley jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Burnley we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
What should Burnley owners check first?
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
