Shop refurbishment and refit for Cirencester businesses
We carry out shop refurbishment and refit in Cirencester and the surrounding parts of Gloucestershire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How do we plan the job?
For Cirencester jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Cirencester we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
- Redecoration and new finishes
What should Cirencester owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
