Shop refurbishment and refit for Portadown businesses
Need shop refurbishment and refit in Portadown? We survey the unit, draw the layout with you and give a fixed, itemised price before anything is ordered.
A shop refurbishment updates an existing unit: new finishes, lighting, fixtures and layout, from a light refresh while you trade to a full strip-out and refit.
How do we plan the job?
For Portadown jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Portadown we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Lighting upgrade to LED
- Replacement fixtures and counters
- Flooring replacement
- Condition survey of the existing fit-out
- Strip-out and waste removal
What should Portadown owners check first?
- Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
- Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.
- Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
In Northern Ireland, fit-out work is covered by the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) and approved by the district council's building control team. New shopfronts and illuminated signs are checked by the council's planning department.
