What happens at the survey?

For Luton jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.

In and around Luton we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and pharmacies and healthcare premises.

What is included?

Redecoration and new finishes
Lighting upgrade to LED
Replacement fixtures and counters
Flooring replacement
Condition survey of the existing fit-out

What should Luton owners check first?

Switching to LED lighting cuts running costs and heat load.
Reusing sound fixtures can take a large slice off the cost.
Older units may contain asbestos; a refurbishment survey is needed before strip-out.

In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
