What happens at the survey?
Before we price salon and barber shop fit-out in Leicester, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Leicester we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Styling stations with mirrors and power

What should Leicester owners check first?
- Treatment rooms offering special procedures may need a local authority licence.
- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
- Backwash units need hot water capacity sized for several basins running together.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
