Salon and barber shop fit-out for Penrith businesses
We carry out salon and barber shop fit-out in Penrith and the surrounding parts of Cumbria, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A salon fit-out builds styling stations, backwash areas, reception, retail display and any treatment rooms, with the hot water, drainage and power each station needs.
How do we plan the job?
For Penrith jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Penrith we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Lighting that flatters skin tones
- Styling stations with mirrors and power
- Backwash units with hot water and drainage
- Reception desk and retail display
- Treatment rooms and partitions
What should Penrith owners check first?
- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
- Backwash units need hot water capacity sized for several basins running together.
- Treatment rooms offering special procedures may need a local authority licence.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
