Salon and barber shop fit-out for Bishop Auckland businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Bishop Auckland use our salon and barber shop fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A salon fit-out builds styling stations, backwash areas, reception, retail display and any treatment rooms, with the hot water, drainage and power each station needs.
What happens at the survey?
For Bishop Auckland jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Bishop Auckland we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Reception desk and retail display
- Treatment rooms and partitions
- Towel and colour dispensary
- Lighting that flatters skin tones
- Styling stations with mirrors and power
What should Bishop Auckland owners check first?
- Hair traps on backwash drainage save costly blockages.
- Backwash units need hot water capacity sized for several basins running together.
- Treatment rooms offering special procedures may need a local authority licence.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
