Roller shutters and security in Blackburn
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Blackburn use our roller shutters and security service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
Shop roller shutters are steel or aluminium curtains that roll into a box above the shopfront, closed at night to protect the glass and stock. Perforated and grille types let light and window display show through.
What happens at the survey?
For Blackburn jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Blackburn we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and convenience stores and off-licences.

What should Blackburn owners check first?

- Your insurer may specify the security rating it wants.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control.
