Roller shutters and security for Bridlington businesses
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our roller shutters and security work in Bridlington is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
Shop roller shutters are steel or aluminium curtains that roll into a box above the shopfront, closed at night to protect the glass and stock. Perforated and grille types let light and window display show through.
What happens at the survey?
For Bridlington jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Bridlington we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Electric motor with manual override
- Key switch or remote control
- Powder coating to match the shopfront
- Annual service options
- Solid, perforated or punched lath shutters
What should Bridlington owners check first?
- Electric shutters need safety edges or photocells to stop them closing on people.
- Externally fitted shutters often need planning permission, and some councils prefer internal grilles.
- Your insurer may specify the security rating it wants.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
