Retail shopfitting in Caernarfon
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our retail shopfitting work in Caernarfon is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
Retail shopfitting is the design, manufacture and installation of everything inside a shop that lets it trade: walls, ceilings, lighting, flooring, display fixtures, counters, fitting rooms and the services behind them.
How is the work priced?
For Caernarfon jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Caernarfon we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Display walls, gondolas and counters
- Flooring, decorating and final clean
- Measured survey and floor plan
- Strip-out and making good
- Partitions, drylining and ceilings
What should Caernarfon owners check first?
- Fire alarm, emergency lighting and escape signage must be commissioned and certified before you open.
- Landlord consent and the lease's fit-out guide usually need sign-off before work starts.
- Shopfitting inside a trading centre often has to run out of hours, so ask for a night-work price early.
In Wales, the Building Regulations are set by the Welsh Government and applied by local authority building control. Shopfronts, signs and extraction flues need checking with the local planning authority, and many Welsh towns have conservation areas with stricter rules on shopfront design.
Questions about retail shopfitting in Caernarfon
How soon can work start in Caernarfon?
Surveys are usually booked within one to two weeks. Your quote includes a start date and a dated programme.
Can you work around our existing shop while it trades?
Yes. We phase the work, screen off live areas and do the noisy and dusty trades out of hours so the shop can keep taking money.
Do you provide the design as well as the build?
We produce a layout and elevations with you, then build from them. If you already have a designer or brand guidelines, we work to those instead.
Is the survey free in Caernarfon?
Yes. We survey units in Caernarfon and across Gwynedd free of charge, with no obligation.
