How is the work priced?
Before we price restaurant and café fit-out in Glenrothes, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Glenrothes we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?

What should Glenrothes owners check first?
- Register your food business with the council at least 28 days before you start trading.
- A new extraction flue often needs planning permission, and odour and noise reports may be asked for.
- Kitchen gas work must be done and certified by a Gas Safe engineer registered for commercial catering.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
