Pharmacy fit-out contractors in Swindon
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our pharmacy fit-out work in Swindon is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How is the work priced?
For Swindon jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Swindon we are usually asked to work on convenience stores and off-licences and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
What should Swindon owners check first?
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
Questions about pharmacy fit-out in Swindon

Can you keep the pharmacy open during the refit?
Dispensing has to continue, so we phase the work and often build the new dispensary before moving across.
