Pharmacy fit-out for Farnham businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Farnham use our pharmacy fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How is the work priced?
For Farnham jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Farnham we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and pharmacies and healthcare premises.
What is included?
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
What should Farnham owners check first?
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
