Pharmacy fit-out in Witney
We carry out pharmacy fit-out in Witney and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
For Witney jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Witney we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and boutiques and independent retailers.
What is included?
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
- Consultation room with sound privacy
What should Witney owners check first?
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
