Pharmacy fit-out for Preston businesses
From the first measured survey to the day you open, our pharmacy fit-out work in Preston is planned around your lease, your landlord and your trading hours.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How is the work priced?
For Preston jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Preston we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Consultation room with sound privacy
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
What should Preston owners check first?
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
