Pharmacy fit-out for Amersham businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Amersham use our pharmacy fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A pharmacy fit-out creates the dispensary, a private consultation room, the medicines counter and the retail area, with the security and storage controlled medicines need.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price pharmacy fit-out in Amersham, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Amersham we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Medicines counter with pharmacist sight line
- Controlled drugs cabinet fixing
- Retail shelving and health displays
- Security, CCTV and shutters
- Dispensary benching and drug storage
What should Amersham owners check first?
- The pharmacist needs a clear view of the medicines counter from the dispensary.
- Controlled drugs cabinets must be fixed securely to the structure.
- The consultation room should let patients talk without being overheard in the shop.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
