How do we plan the job?
Every convenience store and supermarket fit-out quote for Lichfield lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Lichfield we are usually asked to work on shopping centre units and retail park stores and cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants.
What is included?
- Gondola and wall shelving runs
- Chiller and freezer positions with dedicated power
- Counter with tobacco gantry and lottery space
- CCTV, intruder alarm and security shutters
- Anti-slip commercial flooring
What should Lichfield owners check first?
- Your premises licence plan may need updating if the alcohol display area changes.
- Tobacco and vapes must be stored out of sight of customers, so the gantry needs closing doors or shutters.
- Refrigeration needs dedicated circuits and ventilation space; confirm the supply capacity before ordering chillers.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
