How do we plan the job?
For Lichfield jobs we confirm loading and parking arrangements early, because access often shapes the programme as much as the build itself.
In and around Lichfield we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and showrooms and trade counters.
What is included?
- Wall units and shelving
- Laminate, veneer and painted finishes
- Delivery and installation
- Workshop drawings for approval
- Counters and cash desks
What should Lichfield owners check first?
- Hard-wearing edges matter more than the face finish on busy counters.
- Allow time for drawing approval before manufacture starts.
- Counters should include a lowered section for wheelchair users.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
