Bar and pub fit-out for Swansea businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Swansea use our bar and pub fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How do we plan the job?
The survey for bar and pub fit-out in Swansea covers measurements, service capacity, access for deliveries and any planning or building control points.
In and around Swansea we are usually asked to work on boutiques and independent retailers and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
What should Swansea owners check first?
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
In Wales, the Building Regulations are set by the Welsh Government and applied by local authority building control. Shopfronts, signs and extraction flues need checking with the local planning authority, and many Welsh towns have conservation areas with stricter rules on shopfront design.

What finishes last in a busy bar?
Hard-wearing laminates or sealed hardwoods on the counter, stainless kick plates and a sealed floor that can be mopped hard.
