Bar and pub fit-out for Taunton businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Taunton use our bar and pub fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How do we plan the job?
Before we price bar and pub fit-out in Taunton, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Taunton we are usually asked to work on cafés, takeaways and independent restaurants and high street units and corner shops.
What is included?
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
What should Taunton owners check first?
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control. Shopfronts, extraction flues and illuminated signs are dealt with separately by the local planning authority.
