Bar and pub fit-out for Livingston businesses
Owners opening or refreshing a unit in Livingston use our bar and pub fit-out service to get one contract, one programme and one point of contact.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
What happens at the survey?
Every bar and pub fit-out quote for Livingston lists each element separately, so you can see what the layout, joinery, services and finishes each cost.
In and around Livingston we are usually asked to work on salons, barbers and beauty clinics and shopping centre units and retail park stores.
What is included?
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
- Cellar cooling and beer line routes
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
What should Livingston owners check first?
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
