Bar and pub fit-out for Dunfermline businesses
We carry out bar and pub fit-out in Dunfermline and the surrounding parts of Fife, managing every trade from strip-out to a clean handover.
A bar fit-out builds the bar counter and back bar, the cellar and beer line runs, seating and the lighting and acoustics that set the mood.
How is the work priced?
Before we price bar and pub fit-out in Dunfermline, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Dunfermline we are usually asked to work on high street units and corner shops and salons, barbers and beauty clinics.
What is included?
- Glass washer, ice machine and sink positions
- Booth and loose seating
- Feature, scene and dimmable lighting
- Acoustic treatment and flooring
- Bar counter and back bar joinery
What should Dunfermline owners check first?
- Changes to the bar layout may need a variation to your premises licence plan.
- Late-night venues often need acoustic treatment to satisfy noise conditions.
- Cellar cooling units need somewhere to reject heat, usually outside, which may need consent.
In Scotland, most fit-out work that alters the building needs a building warrant from the local authority before work starts, followed by a completion certificate. Planning permission and advertisement consent are separate, and Scottish councils publish their own shopfront design guidance.
