How do we plan the job?
Before we price aluminium shopfronts in York, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.

What should York owners check first?
- Entrance doors should give a clear opening width that suits wheelchair users.
- Laminated glass holds together if broken, which helps security.

In England, fit-out work that affects fire escape, structure, drainage or accessibility falls under the Building Regulations and is signed off by local authority or approved inspector building control.
