How is the work priced?
Before we price aluminium shopfronts in Coleraine, we check the lease, the landlord's fit-out rules, the existing services and how materials can get into the unit.
In and around Coleraine we are usually asked to work on showrooms and trade counters and convenience stores and off-licences.
What is included?
- Level threshold and accessible door handles
- Stallriser and fascia panel
- Measured survey of the opening
- Powder-coated aluminium frames in any RAL colour
- Toughened or laminated safety glass
What should Coleraine owners check first?
- Entrance doors should give a clear opening width that suits wheelchair users.
- Laminated glass holds together if broken, which helps security.
- A new shopfront usually needs planning permission, and more in a conservation area.
In Northern Ireland, fit-out work is covered by the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) and approved by the district council's building control team. New shopfronts and illuminated signs are checked by the council's planning department.
